About Me

is lasik surgery something for you to consider?

Are you tired of fighting with your contact lenses each morning or struggling to find your glasses in the middle of the night so you can see what time it is? Have you ever considered getting lasik eye surgery to eliminate the need for your glasses and contact lenses? I put off getting the procedure completed for several years, but after having it done, my only regret is waiting so long to do it. If I was to add up how much it cost me to replace my glasses and contacts over the years, the cost of having the surgery performed was nothing. I have done my best to include any information that anyone considering getting lasik surgery needs to make an educated decision.

Does Someone In Your Family Suffer With Seizures? Real Scientific Hemp Oil Can Help

While the different states argue and legislate whether to make medical marijuana legal or not, people are suffering with pain, nausea and seizures that could be lessened or controlled. However, there is an alternative that provides the same, and in some cases better, results that is perfectly legal in all 50 states: real scientific hemp oil. If anyone in your family would benefit from using medical marijuana but cannot get it, for whatever reason, try this and things should improve. Here are a few of the benefits of hemp oil.

Real scientific hemp oil is not going to cause anyone to go to jail or get fined. It is legal in the United States. It is NOT marijuana. It does contain a small amount of THC, but not enough to classify it as a Schedule I drug.

Contains CBD

The medical component of hemp oil is cannabidiol (CBD). There is a much higher concentration of CBD in hemp oil than there is in marijuana. To be medical grade marijuana, the plants must be manipulated to have a higher concentration of CBD and a lower concentration of THC. Hemp does this naturally so there is no manipulation; the plants are not genetically modified.

Medical Applications

Real scientific hemp oil can be used for the following medical reasons:

  • Control nausea and vomiting – This can be very beneficial to patients undergoing chemotherapy. It is important that the patients are able to eat and receive adequate nutrition to fight the devastating effects of chemo and/or radiation.
  • Control seizures – The anticonvulsant properties of hemp oil reduces the number of seizures a person with epilepsy has on a daily basis. There have been records of one patient going from having over 60 seizures a week before using hemp oil to only 30 a week.
  • Control psychotic behavior – The CBD in hemp oil reduces anxiety and also stabilizes NMDA receptors in the brain to alleviate the symptoms of schizophrenia.

Because there is very little THC in hemp oil, it does not give people the negative effects they would get from smoking a joint or eating foods laced with marijuana. There is no memory impairment, paranoia or tiredness. Taking hemp oil will not cause someone to sit around in a stupor all day. In fact, because of its ability to alleviate nausea, anxiety and seizures, people are more apt to be alert, active and feel better about life in general.
